Hello! My name is Kim and I am a former teacher with 20+ years of experience... having taught first grade, kindergarten and (most recently) pre-k. I love watching the transformation as a "little one" journeys through the developmental stages of growth. I am always amazed at their enthusiasm and excitment as they discover and learn about the world around them. Through my years of teaching I have become skilled at identifying the differentiated leaning styles of my students and providing an environment that facilitates learning. I believe, that if children feel safe and respected and are having fun, they will be successful. I am PA certified in both Early Childhood and Elementary Education. Oh my! Where do I start? Kim provided foundation tutoring to our 2 kids (then aged 2 and 3) from when the pandemic started and schools/childcare centers were shutdown - she provided lessons in our home for almost 2 years. Trust and respect between her and my family mutual which was mutually important to both of our families considering health and safety protocols with COVID. She would provide holiday gifts to all 3 kids, which we are immensely grateful for her thoughtfulness. Kim, gave us enough notice when she could no longer provide lessons to the kids, to focus on her family. We would love have Kim with us again anytime, so do not hesitate to retain her if given the opportunity.
