About Kiersten

From the time I was old enough to be a caretaker, I have found any opportunity! I was a summer camp counselor for kids aged 7-12 where I organized and supervised small and large group activities. My mother has been an at-home daycare provider for 10+ years, which I have helped her with each summer for around 5 years. I have also had the privilege to babysit for some wonderful families throughout highschool. Over the past year, I've worked at a daycare center as an assistant teacher for infants, toddlers, and early preschool. In the time that I've spent working with kids, I have developed a greater and deeper appreciation for the little things of life, and just how special they are. Childcare has encouraged me to find time in my own life for play and childlike wonder. Every day I get to be with kids, I cannot wait to watch as each kid slowly grows up into who they are.
