About Kiersten

I helped my own mother care for many children as I was growing up, as part of her in-home daycare that she ran from my childhood home up until I was about the age of 13, which was when I started working with kids on my own. I babysat for many families in Upstate New York for many years after that, until I left for college and worked in the on-campus daycare there. While I still do not consider myself quite ready to have children of my own here in the city just yet, I have a deep love for them ingrained in me and truly enjoy time spent embracing the wonder and excitement of the world through the eyes of children. In my spare time, I like to try new foods/restaurants in the city, go walk around at whatever cultural festivals/events are going on, watch movies with my roommate/best friend and my cat, and work on improving my Italian language and pasta-making skills.
