Hi there! My name is Kiera. I am 25 years old and love the outdoors: Hiking, kayaking, running and working out at the gym (specifically power lifting) are a few of my main interests. I have worked for the Department of Defense in the past and maintain an active Security Clearance. Recently, I completed my Fitness Career Studies at Northern Virginia Community College. I have previously worked for Sterling Fire and Rescue and am still a certified EMT. I am an active member in my church and provide childcare in my church's nursery and MOPS (Mothers of Preschool Children) group. I have provided childcare since the age of 12 years old, working with all ages: Newborn to teenagers and multiples. There is no age that I do not love! Each stage of development is unique and rewarding. In my past experiences, I have been responsible for the upkeep of the home, laundry, cooking meals, taking children to and from various activities, assisting in homework and projects, entertaining and engaging the children in an active, safe and fun environment. We've just recently hired Kiera as our full time nanny. Although she has not started working for us yet, I am extremely impressed with how communicative, energetic, and enthusiastic she has been every step of the way through our initial contact, interview, and hiring process. I was very nervous to take our kids (2.5 year and 5 months) out of the daycare facility they have been going to, as we've been happy with the facility. But once meeting Kiera, both my husband and I knew that she was the right fit for our family. She has a very welcoming, comfortable nature about her, and I'm sure any family that is looking for occasional back-up care or babysitting at night would be just as happy with Kiera and we are. Also, her references were/are GLOWING from other families. I think it's very rare these days to find someone who is just so genuinely a good person who is trustworthy, kind, and really wants to treat your kids like a member of her own family; I know that is what we are getting with Kiera as our nanny!
