I've regularly dog sat three labs for weekends or weeks at a time over a span of about 7 years. Through this I've fed, tended to them, gave them water, and observed them through changes in weather and attitudes to make sure they are at their healthiest. Other times I have catsit a cat for about two weeks in which twice a day I went over to change his water and food, and clean his litter box. Of course, to me the most important thing about pet care is the quality time with the animals! I have two dogs of my own so I know how important it is that they feel that love.
