About Kiden-aloyse

My name is Kiden and I've recently graduated in May from Jackson State University with a B. S. in Journalism and Media Studies. During my time at JSU, I was involved in numerous organizations and volunteer activities, earning my induction into the JSU Student Hall of Fame and graduating magna cum laude with a 3. 7 GPA. I have worked as a summer art teacher in Bridgeport, CT, where I taught and mentored children ages 4-14. I currently work as the Editorial Content Coordinator for the Youth Media Project at the Mississippi Free Press. In this role, I teach and mentor high school students on journalism and writing. Alongside this, I have worked as tutor in writing and reading for elementary age students to college students. I'm solution-oriented, empathetic, and a highly driven individual who finds great joy in working with children and mentoring them. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, writing, running, and spending time with my family and friends.
