About Kiarra

I'm known for my energetic, patient, and humorous approach, creating a positive environment where children feel safe. I love building meaningful connections with children while helping them grow. I am currently a third-grade teacher with Wake County Public Schools. I hold a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Special Education, as well as a master's degree in Special Education. Before becoming a classroom teacher, I worked as a potty-training teacher, where I helped young children build confidence and independence during an important developmental milestone. I have two younger siblings who are currently in elementary school, so I understand the importance of patience, flexibility, and creating a fun, nurturing environment both at home and in educational settings. I'm happy to help with homework, transportation, light housekeeping, and following your family's routines and expectations. I'm also comfortable working in homes with pets; especially dogs!
