I would definitely recommend that parents give Kiara a try - we interviewed her in person and were struck by her pleasant personality as well as her punctuality how communicative she was. I have been using care.com for a number of years and have initiated communication with *countless* potential caregivers - Kiara made it to the top tier of how dependable I think she is. (No, she will not tell you "my car broke down" and then never show up, unlike multiple people I have sadly had experience with.) She does not have as much experience as some on this site but was warm and willing, and seemed like a fast learner. We did not hire her because I needed someone who was available sooner but I think she would make a great nanny/babysitter for someone!
