Hi! My name is Kianza, and I currently work for a non-profit organization, providing care for adults with special needs in a home-based setting. I have a rich background in child care, having been a preschool teacher for seven years and working part-time at the Stamford Youth camp after-school program during that time. I am in the process of completing my bachelor's degree to become a speech pathologist. Alongside my studies and work, I also babysit, with experience caring for infants, toddlers, and children up to 13 years old. My experience extends to working with adults with special needs, which has enriched my understanding and skills in providing compassionate and tailored care. I am patient, reliable, and passionate about engaging children in educational and fun activities. I am also experienced in meal preparation and light housekeeping. I am available Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. -2:30 pm, and open to occasional weekend work.

We first met Kianza a few years ago, when our oldest transitioned into the pre-K daycare class where she worked. Since then, we've had her babysit for our three children, as needed, over the years. She is sweet, responsible and dependable. She's been a pleasure to work with and our children always enjoy spending time with her!
