Hi! My name is Kiana and I'm 23 years old. I have been working as an Early Childhood Educator for two years and am very passionate about fostering children's growth and development. I was recently awarded Teacher of the Year at my center. I have experience caring for children of all ages, though most of my experience is with infants and 3-4-year-olds. As a responsible and observant caregiver, I'm always aware of the children's needs and surroundings. Kiana was a caregiver for our son for just under a year. She very immediately became one of his favorite people to where he brought her up in many stories, songs, and conversations. A three year old boy is a wild ride and she had a wonderful balance of keeping him feeling loved and seen while holding him accountable. She is gifted with seeing what an individual kiddo needs. I’ve seen her consistently holding a kiddo that was nervous and needed physical comfort to get through the day. I’ve seen her praising a kiddo who tends to need a lot to acknowledge. She established herself as an adult that my child can trust and have a relationship with which is hugely important with these little people. Thank you for being so sweet to our boy, Kiana!
