About Khiarra

Hi Mamas and Papas! I am an experienced professional childcare provider with multiple degrees/certifications including ABA and CBT techniques, behavioral intervention, overnight sleep and potty training methods. I have also worked with children with special needs and I am fluent in ASL and Italian. I was born and raised in northern Italy where I studied at a 5 year classical lyceum with focus on early childhood development before relocating to the U. S. and graduating from UMD with a Masters of Science. I am certified in infant, child and adult CPR, First Aid/Fire Safety and Emergency Allergy Response protocol. I'm vaccinated + boostered for Covid 19, Flu, TDap. I'm passionate about caring for children and their families in my community. I enjoy working with my clients to develop a personalized plan of care for each child - encouraging physical, social and creative growth through reading, music, gentle structured and improvised play and wholesome nutrition.
