Hello! My name is Khadijah (I also go by Lavonne. It's a bit easier to pronounce. ) I am trained and experienced in all things homecare. Over the years I've cared for many families elderly and childcare alike. I view each family that I assist as my own. My main goal is to provide a comfortable environment for you. I'm readily adaptable to any special needs and personal preference of each family I assist. I take pride in my detailed attention to each one of my patients. Khadijah took wonderful care of our 9 month old until she was about 18 months old. We experienced bottle refusal (she was breastfed) and Khadijah was incredibly patient and was a huge help in getting our daughter to take a bottle! She has the most beautiful singing voice and my daughter loves to hear her sing- this really contributed to her speech development as well! We always felt comfortable and never worried when she was at home with Khadijah. We have missed her and could not recommend her more! She treats children she cares for as her own family and is a true blessing to any family she helps!

Khadijah was always punctual and communicated well with me and my children. She was patient with my 5 and 2 year old, and respectful of any routines I already had in place with them. I would recommend her to help in caring for any member of the family. 

Khadijah was amazing and patient with my two girls! My 4 year old had an amazing time with her and my 1 year old doesn’t do well with parents being gone but Khadijah handled it so well and was even able to get her to sleep for the night! Would 100% hire again and recommend to anyone. 

She was very interactive with my mother with advanced dementia and engaged her in many activities.  My mother was very responsive to her upbeat and happy demeanor.  She always went above and beyond my expectations.

Khadijah was very helpful and pleasant to work with. She was able to tackle all assignments and patient care activities with devotion and a smile. Besides being a friendly personality, Khadijah was able to take control of any situation and had this uncanny ability to present creative ideas to rectify any given situation. She was so much help and a proven asset to our family and has the potential to prove her capabilities anywhere she would work. We are very sad that we are not able to keep her, as our dear mom has passed on, but we will always remember her as a part of our family. I highly recommend Khadijah for employment anywhere she goes and wish her the absolute best in her future endeavors!

Khadijah is always delightfully kind and caring.  She is intuitive to the needs of those she cares for.  She has been caring for my Mother for over two and a half years and is part of our family.  Her cooking and baking are a delight to everyone's tastebuds.  We have formed many cherished memories of our walks around the neighborhood, of our front and back porch conversations, and if our holidays celebrated together.  Khadijah is a true gem!

Khadijah is kind, caring, and a joy to be around. She loves the elderly and does everything she can to make a person feel good. She is levelheaded and uses common sense when faced with unexpected situations. She is very loyal, honest, and an all around good person! She is very hardworking, willing to do more, and will help out in a pinch. She is eager to learn and be the best that she can be. She has strong work ethics which can be difficult to find in today's workforce. I cannot say enough about all her wonderful qualities! She has provided care for my elderly mother for close to 3 years and is a true gem!
