About Kerry

I'd describe my personality as patient, observant, and welcoming. I like tutoring because I love seeing children grow and learn. Watching them work through a problem and find the answer, or accomplish a goal is the most rewarding part. The child puts in the work and as a tutor, I get to see that hard work pay off and support them along the way. I'm looking for a job that allows me to help and support others as they learn and grow. In my spare time, I like to enjoy the outdoors with my husband and dog. I also love crafting and putting together activity boxes for my nephew. One thing you should know about me is I've always been drawn to help others and I'm constantly trying to find new ways to incorporate that into my life even if it isn't part of my 9-5. My skills include: - Breaking down problems to be digestible for any skill level. - Finding new ways to explain concepts to adapt to different people's learning styles. - Being organized and focused on building a program.
