My nickname was little mother. I started as a mother's helper when I was 11 and babysitting at 12. I worked at Apple Dumpling Play School when I was in high school then when Brookhaven Lab opened a day care, I worked there with all ages infant through 5 years. I then got an offer to work as a children's counselor on a cruise ship. In 1996, I had my first child and stayed home with her and also watched my sister's son. In between, I was licensed as an aesthetician and worked in Christopher Jon Salon. Then in 2001, I had twins and enjoyed every minute home with them. When they went to Pre- K, I started watching my friends' 3-month-old son until he was 3 years old. He is now going to school and my kids are all in school. I love being around children and would love to put my energy into watching your child during the day.
