About Kensington

Hello, everyone! I am a college student who is on her way to receiving a Bachelors in Science as a Biology Major. I am an absolute animal lover. I have owned and trained many personal dogs, as well as neighbors' dogs who had a hard time getting through basic training. I am an adoption counselor for the Mainely Rat Rescue; I have quite a bit of knowledge in exotic pets and how to care for them. I don't have too much professional experience pet sitting or dog walking, but I have sat and walked for many friends and neighbors. Personally, I have rescued, rehabilitated, and trained 5 dogs of all different sizes that were on their way to being euthanized at the shelter. I also volunteer at a therapeutic horseback-riding riding center; getting up close and personal with horses and their "little gifts" left in the stalls. At one point, I was very heavily considering becoming a veterinarian! I have a lot of passion and care for the well being and proper treatment of all animals.
