About Kennedy

Hello! My name is Kennedy and I am an experienced child care provider in Metro-Detroit. Over the years, I have taken Early Childhood Education courses in conjunction with courses in Psychology. Working with preschools, nonprofits, and individual families has allowed me to hone in on my natural care taking skills. When working with families, I aim to create a safe and comfortable environment for children, a trusting relationship with their parents, and a controlled work environment for myself. With 4 years of experience, I have learned to coordinate with parents in maintaining routines and learned how to guide engaging/meaningful experiences for their children. Activities on a typical day with me can include exploring nature, making crafts, science experiments, cooking, walks, reading, etc. I also provide light housekeeping and pick up/drop off services. Lastly, my core value is to create developmentally appropriate learning experiences in a safe, healthy, and respectful environment.
