About Kennedy
Experience: 5 yrs
My name is Kennedy, but my after school program students call me (Ms.) Ken! I am passionate about encouraging kids emotional regulation skills, engaging in activities you're passionate about, and understanding they are capable. I describe my personality as authentic, organized, patient, and friendly. I began working in childcare when I was 14 years old and fell in love with youth programming while working at the Natural History Museum on the Youth and Family Program team. For the last year I have been working as a Youth Development Professional for the Boys and Girls Club and I absolutely love it and adore my students. I am passionate about encouraging kids to be curious! I want them to have the opportunity to get outside and ask questions! I would love the chance to be able to talk with you and help the family!
