I have completed 2 semesters of tutoring 1:1 and 4:1 for my professional field experience requirement to earn my education degree. The students I worked with ranged from 3-5th grade that needed help with math, reading, and vocabulary. During the semester, I checked in with their parents and educators through monthly reports, summarizing the progress and inquiring if they had any concerns/suggestions of their own. Outside of helping with homework assignments, I brought along reading material, games/activities, and worksheets for us to complete. The tutoring session ran anywhere between 30 to 90 minutes for roughly 15 weeks.
