About Kendra

Hello, my name is Kendra and I have over 20 years experience in caring for children both in childcare centers and as a nanny. I have experience with children from newborn up to 12 years. I also have have experience with premies and multiples. I earned my associates degree in Child Development from Austin Community College in 2003. In my most recent position I cared for a 6-month-old until she was 13 months old and prior to that I cared for triplets from newborn to age 2. My responsibilities included making bottles, feeding, preparing meals and snacks, dressing and diapering, nap times and play times as well as light housekeeping and doing some light pet care. Connecting with children on their level is important to me. I love doing floor time with babies and blocks and pretend play with the older kiddos. I also love reading stories, action songs, finger plays, arts and crafts and exploring nature and outdoor games.
