Hello Moms and Dads! I take my career with much compassion and structure. I want to be able to provide parents with comfort and security in having someone trustworthy watching their little ones. I am an overall mother's helper, therefore, besides caring for children, I also enjoy cleaning, sorting meal preps, organizing, and pet sitting. If that is something you are needing we can definitely discuss it. I have spent over 14 yrs. giving care to children. I enjoy studying their behavior, since they can be quite unpredictable at times. I have been entrusted with groups of children, from being a head teacher at a daycare- to babysitting 5 kids- all drastically different ages at a home. While every child is different in how they cope and adjust to change, I believe I do well filling in the gaps. I have noticed that keeping a calm demeanor in everything is key for me. I am so grateful that we found Kendra to take care of our 1 and 4 yo. There was a comfort with her from the beginning (even over the phone when we first spoke). She worked with us full time M-F. She was on time every day ! Not one sick day or last minute reason not to come. Kendra is very reliable and I felt comfortable knowing she was there at home. As this was our first time with a nanny, we didn’t know what to expect. She went above and beyond with our kids - spending time with them in a way I was not able to. She also opened my eyes to a lot about children’s development and she is knowledgeable about how to handle situations kindly and firmly. Both my kids felt comfortable with her pretty quickly. If you want someone who is honest, easy to talk with and trustworthy- Kendra is it! We were lucky to have her and we miss her. We had to end our time with her as I decided to stay at home from work. Any family would be lucky to have her.
