About Kendra

Hi Families! My name is Kendra! I am a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in Biology and am working toward becoming a NICU nurse. I have 2. 5 years of experience caring for children as young as 4 months old and as old as 12 ys/o, both as a co-teacher at Bright Horizons and through private family care. I provide infant and toddler care including feeding, diapering, soothing, nap routines, and age-appropriate activities. I am also available for homework help and outings to the park or library. You can count on me for light household support, meal preparation, and postpartum care, whether that means running errands, providing emotional check-ins, or giving parents time to rest. Families who have worked with me describe me as nurturing, dependable, and extremely understanding. My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where children thrive and parents feel cared for. I value building meaningful and lasting connections with every family I support.
