About Kelsey

Hi, my name is Kelsey! I have been working with kids of all ages for 9 years in before and after school programs, day camps, in group homes, and preschool settings. As I've worked as a caregiver, youth director, preschool teacher, and preschool manager, I've developed a passion for early childhood education and social and emotional learning! While my bachelor's degree is in Art, I have taken several classes in early childhood education and have received countless trainings in education, behavior management, social and emotional learning, trauma informed care and more. I'm very familiar with Washington state codes regarding safe childcare and am up to date with my CPR, first aid, blood borne pathogens, and all other state required trainings for working in childcare. I also have a current and valid PBC with DCYF!
