I am looking for part-time work either regularly starting in October or one-off caretaking just for August. I have over 20 years experience caring for young children from home settings to childcare settings and over 15 years of experience with pet sitting, including housesitting. I have a BAS in Early Childhood Education. Families say I'm a responsible, compassionate, creative, and eco-conscious professional. I don't allow screen time on my watch, choosing instead to enjoy taking kids out to the library, farmer's market, park, and teach them about the world (age appropriate jawns including why we wear sunscreen, where food comes from, how & why we respect other people, etc.). I meet children where they are at, engaging them in their interests. My primary focus is keeping children safe and healthy while they have fun and learn. I'm happy to prepare simple meals and tidy up.

My husband and I recommend Kelly very much. She's not a regular nanny. First, she's trained in child development and teaching small kids and has worked in a childcare center before as well. I was always impressed with how calm she remained no matter what the situation. Furthermore she e-mailed us educational e-mails every couple of months, where she described what developmental stage our daughter was in and how she's supporting this during the day and what we as parents could do to further her development as well. I also asked for advice from Kelly several times as she always seemed to have good points and ideas.
