About Kelly

Hi there! My name is Kelly and I have 5 years teaching experience (K-1) in AISD and RRISD. I left teaching last year to attend grad school, but have continued to nanny and tutor a few families. As a former teacher, I always want to instill a desire for learning in my students and would love to have the opportunity to work alongside your family to enrich their virtual learning experience. I can provide targeted small group instruction for subjects as needed and have supplemental material that can be used to either reinforce concepts or challenge students. I can also provide regular check ins/tests on reading, sight word recognition, and math concepts to measure progress and adjust curriculum and lessons as needed. I absolutely love working with kids of all ages and see so much potential in EACH and every one of them. I know this is such a strange and difficult time, but I desire to make their learning engaging, fun, and purposeful. I look forward to connecting!
