About Kelly

I started babysitting when I was 12, and typically watched 3-4-year-old children in my neighborhood. As I became more experienced, I had about 5 families that I consistently babysat for, with children aged 2 to 9. At 16, I began to nanny part-time for two kids who were, at the time I started, 6 and 8. I continued to be their part-time, summer nanny for 4 years. In order to entertain the kids, I would play games with them, bring crafts, read books, play outside, and occasionally take them out shopping, to the pool, or to the movies. Last summer I nannied full-time for one 10-year-old. I typically picked her up from swimming and then we had a weekly budget where we could do fun things such as get ice cream, go to the zoo, or go swimming. I have a car, experience with 3 kids of different ages, ranging from about 6 months to 12 years old, and I am really passionate about being a positive influence and role model for the kids I've watched.
