About Kelly

I used to go to school for Early Childhood Development. When I became pregnant with my daughter, I had to leave the program. I currently run the after-school program at my daughter's school. The ages that I work with in that program is the pre-k age all the way to the 8th grade level. I typically watch multiple age groups at the afterschool program. At the afterschool program we work on our communications skills, how to work together, and team building. I am also in charge of the afterschool snacks. An example of one of the projects we have done this year is, we watched the newest Toy's Story movie. After we all created our own Sporkies. Another project we did was building a Winter Wonderland out of old boxes we saved. We had to work together on how we wanted our village to look. Another thing I do in the afterschool program is help the children with any projects they are working on.
