About Kelly

*Please note, I teach full time during the school year and am only available for occasional evening/weekend babysitting* Hello, I'm Kelly! I first began working with children as a student at the University of Connecticut, where I studied Early Childhood Development and Education, and completed my first student teaching practicums. I loved being immersed in the wonder, curiosity, and playfulness of a child's world, and have enjoyed many years of teaching young children since then. I returned to school in 2018 to get my Master's degree in Education from the University of Colorado. Working with children is my passion, and I view my time with children as a chance for learning, growing, and creating joy. It's important to me to build strong, quality relationships with the children and families I work with, and believe meaningful learning happens through relationships. Fun fact, I have two cats - Felix and Eevee - and I like to walk Felix on a leash around our neighborhood!
