About Kelly

I have always been surrounded by children. I have experience as a babysitter, tutor, nanny, preschool teacher, and I am now a mother. I cannot imagine my life without the little feet echoing. I believe in positive guidance, redirection, and open communication with children, as well as modeling appropriate behavior. I enjoy using arts and crafts, music, and nature to teach, interact with, and inspire children of all ages. I understand that every moment with children is a learning experience, and I strive to make a positive impact on young minds. I am hoping to work with a family who can become an extension of my own. I am looking for an opportunity to work with a family who would allow me to bring my child (she'll be 2 in Oct.) and occasionally 6yr old depending on times/days. I have my CDA with focus on infant and toddler development, and experience with children from newborn to age 12, including special needs, mixed age groups, and multiples. My own education is also important to me, and I keep current on new discoveries and techniques in the world of childcare, as well as continuing my education and training to better myself as a provider and mother. I am available for date nights, occasional babysitting, part time or full time nannying.
