About Kelly Ann

I have had dogs and cats all my life. Some were babies when I got them, and some were adults. I've had animals from litters as well as rescues with emotional issues from abandonment to abuse to overcome. I've had elderly cats who needed injections for insulin for diabetes and IV fluids under the skin for kidney failure. In college, I worked at a pet store for a year that specialized in fish. It's been a while, but I'm comfortable with both fresh and saltwater fish. I also have a great love for snakes and lizards, although I don't have a great deal of experience with them. I also have helped take care of chickens, rabbits and guinea pigs, although my experience with them is rather limited. I don't have a fear of - almost - any animal. I am still struggling to make my peace with spiders and other bugs (except bees). They still creep me out, and I can't handle being anywhere in the vicinity of them.
