Hello! My name is Kellie and I am a 34-year-old female. I am a therapeutic instructor at a school for kids with Autism and I LOVE my job! I have been working with kids my whole life, from tutoring to camp counselor to music instructor to what I do now! I have experience with kiddos all over the ASD spectrum. The classroom I work in now is mostly non-verbal kiddos and my work with them ranges from academics to basic life skills such as eating and bathrooming, and I also do ABA therapy with higher-functioning students 2-3 times a week. I have a never-ending amount of patience, and I love finding ways to connect with my students. I also have experience with children with ADD/ADHD, Dyslexia, and other learning disabilities. I believe that working with kiddos who experience and perceive the world in different ways than neuro-typical brains is truly my calling and what I am meant to do!
