I am a retired Educator seeking a part-time nanny/mother's helper position. I was a Special Needs substitute teacher in schools for 15 years. Worked for 3 yrs nanny/household management. I set up classes and taught Pre-school and Pre-K students for families. I nannied for a family 5 years tutoring their then 4-year-old and 8-year-old children. For the last year I've been a nanny and mother's helper. I enjoy children very much and seek to establish trusting relationships quickly. I am certified for the fifth time in First Aid, CPR and AED. I have a current DMV record and an excellent driver. I've current background checks and letters of recommendation. In caring for children safety is my first priority. I like to listen to children and be actively involved in their ideas. I will plan fun activities for the older children. Little ones will be safe and we'll learn together. I'm happy to tutor. I am fully committed to the family for whom I work. They will find me dependable and reliable.
