About Kelci

Hello families! I am a recent graduate currently in the process of pursuing my masters degree in school psychology in the fall, with the goal of becoming a school psychologist, and I am truly passionate about working with children and helping them grow both academically and emotionally. I have gained valuable, hands-on experience working as a preschool and pre-K assistant teacher in Mint Hill and Matthews, where I loved supporting classroom learning and creating a positive, engaging environment every day. I also worked as a camp counselor for two years of children ages 5-6, where I had so much fun, planning, activities, encouraging confidence, and making sure each child felt included and safe. My experience spans a wide range of age groups because I started as a daycare floater, this gave me the opportunity to work with infants through school-age children, helping me develop a strong understanding of different developmental stages and how to best support each child's unique needs.
