I am the oldest child in a family with 6 children of all ages. Throughout my teenage years I was always the one my family would call on to babysit all cousins and siblings. When I turned 16, my aunt hired me as a full time babysitter to watch her 1-year-old daughter. Since then, I have babysat on the side; after or before work, as well as on my days off, and also have kids of my own, ages 6 and 8. I currently work for Vancouver Public School as a para educator (looking to leave my position). I am trained in all age groups, very comfortable and familiar with taking care of infants, very familar with working with kids with disabilities and special, CPR certified, and have plenty of references.
