About Keelyn

Hi Families! I am an Educator/Childcare Provider located on First Hill. I have just finished teaching a "learning pod" consisting of three students, after 2. 5 years due to their school schedule sadly changing. I lived in Asia teaching PreK-Grade 1 prior to working with them, and current attend UW's school of education. Here are a few details about my teaching philosophies! -Believe in incorporating Montessori/Waldorf techniques in any curriculum, always opting outside when possible -Passionate about nurturing and encouraging children's curiosity, independence, and sense of self, believing every moment is a teachable one -Striving to create an environment nurturing lifelong learners, creative problems solvers, and children in touch with their emotions I would love to provide a resume and references upon request!
