I like working with kids because you can see them develop into their own person. They have a creative and optimistic outlook on life that tends to be forgotten with everyday life. I'm looking for a job that keeps me moving, I love doing crafts and fun activities! I started working with kids when I was looking into school to become a teacher. I started at the YMCA and fell in love with the atmosphere; getting to know the children, understanding their own home situations, helping in school work, and most importantly that kids are kids. I have learned amazing tips and tricks to help with melt downs, mastered patience, and that they just need to feel that they are heard. One thing you should know about me is I am dedicated and trust worthy. It is not an easy decision to let just anyone into your home with your loved ones. I am familiar with following strict rules with the YMCA protocols, and I am able to follow any further ground rules set in order to protect your space and privacy.
