About Kayla

Hello! My name is Kayla, and I am a school counselor and experienced childcare provider with over 10 years of experience working with children of all ages. I hold a BA in Developmental Psychology and a Master's in School Counseling from Hunter College. Alongside my counseling work, I have extensive experience as a nanny and private caregiver, supporting families with newborns through school-aged children. I'm experienced with infant care, routines, developmental milestones, and managing multiple children. I'm also comfortable with travel and helping maintain structure in new environments. As a school counselor, I support children's social-emotional development, helping them build confidence, regulate emotions, and feel supported. I bring a calm, nurturing, and reliable approach to caregiving and truly value building strong connections with families.
