About Kayla

Hello families! I am a Loyola University of Chicago graduate with a BS in Neuroscience (May of 2025) and am currently in my gap year preparing for medical school. I have several years of childcare experience through daycare work, Sunday school volunteering, nannying, and babysitting. I'm patient, reliable, and enjoy creating a safe and engaging environment for children through creative activities, homework support, and outdoor play. I am CPR certified and happy to provide references upon request. I like working with kids because I value observing how they learn, grow, and engage with the world through play and curiosity. One thing you should know about me is I value respect and clear communication. I believe children, deserve the same respect we ask of them in return.
