About Kayla

As a friendly and approachable childcare provider with a year of experience, I'm passionate about supporting families and making a positive impact on children's lives. Though I don't have much paid experience, most of my experience comes from babysitting my siblings. I was a teenager when both my brothers were born, and have been watching them since I was 14. I know how to deal with tantrums, eating schedules, outdoor activities, screen time, sharing, and interactions. My childcare philosophy is to follow the parents' lead, ensuring that I'm providing the best possible care for each child. I keep parents informed about their child's day through written daily reports, verbal communication at pickup, and regular updates via text or phone. From personal experience, I understand the struggle working parent(s) undergo with juggling work, fatigue, and keeping children happy. My goal is to relieve any stress while keeping the children happy and healthy.
