My #1 priority is to ensure the safety & happiness of the children in my care while concurrently, creating a bond with the families I work for. I'm the oldest out of 4. My younger sister & I are 11 years apart. My first babysitting job was at 14 in the summer of 2010; a 9-year-old girl with Down Syndrome. The past 18 years, I've worked for 20+ families. Age range: 6 months to 13-year-olds. I am an Account Executive for a pharmaceutical marketing agency. My team educates doctors all over the globe. I've been in this industry for about 5 years now. A range of abilities essential for effectively nurturing children. My skills include: Patience: Children require patience and understanding as they learn/grow Empathy: Being able to relate to a child's emotions/experiences is crucial for providing them with support Communication: Effective communication with children involves active listening, clear articulation, & the ability to adapt language/tone to the child's age & developmental stage
