About Kayla

I have a very positive and enthusiastic personality. I love working with children and have a lot of experience in the field. I have a bachelors degree in psychology and social work. I am cirrently in a masters program for childhood education and special education while working as a daycare teacher for children aged 2 to 4. I have worked as a community habilitation specialist caring for 2 twin boys that have a developmental disability. I also have experience working with children at day camps and volunteer programs. I have been babysitting for 13 years and have worked at a daycare for three years. I have experience in changing diapers, potty training, maintaining a safe and nurturing environment, planning and implementing age-appropriate educational activities, preparing and serving meals and snacks, managing nap times and daily routines, managing challenging behaviors through positive reinforcement, and providing attentive, individualized care to meet each child's needs.
