About Kayla

Hi, I'm Kayla and I am 25 years old. I have worked in a Montessori school assisting in ages ranging from infant to 6 years old. I then joined care. com in 2019 and worked for a family with 6 kids for a year until Covid. I decided to get back into school and began pursuing my degree in social work through WCC part-time while getting back to work. Shortly after the shutdown, exactly 4 years ago I found the family that I still work for. When I started with them they had a 7m old baby and their sisters baby on the way that I cared for as well. Both moms had their 2nd kids and I had my 1st all within a couple months of each other. For a year I cared for two toddlers and 3 babies. When the moms third and my second were on the way the two families decided to split and I've been caring for their 3 and my 2, full time until their oldest just started preschool and now all their kids will go as well. I have been blessed to be able to bring my two kids with me and hope to be able to do so again
