About Kayla

I'd describe my personality as Creative, Joyful, Spirited. I like working with kids because seeing children navigate the world with such amusement, makes me appreciative of life. Watching their endless curiosity at anything fuels me to educate! I'm looking for a job that would make an impact on others, helping out and guiding little minds is a passion for me! I want to be creative, and see it create an impact. I started working with kids at 16. I begun by babysitting for family and my love for children grew from there! When I turned 18 I worked at a daycare, growing professional skills educating children. With a total of 4 years childcare experience. In my spare time I bake, exercise, and make art. One thing families should know is that I own 1 cat + 1 dog My skills include: Avoiding tantrums through a fun/creative distraction (Ex. breathing exercise). Setting healthy boundaries between authoritative figure and friend. Speed cleaner/diaper changer (More time to watch kids).
