About Kayla

I am looking for work in the care giving field. I have several years experience working as a care giver, and have excellent references. I have over 7 years experience providing care, although mostly with children. I have a passion for working with people and believe it is my calling. I altogether have 3+ years experience providing care to people with special needs. I am a student at Brescia University majoring in Speech Pathology. Due to my enrollment in college, I would be unavailable in mornings/early afternoons M-F, but would be willing to work all other times. I am 19 years old, and although I'm probably younger than your ideal applicant, I am about as domestic as they come. My last job was working as a Community Living Support provider. At this job, I worked with a set of 4-year-old triplets who had been diagnosed with Autism, and I helped them overcome their disabilities on a daily basis. Each day, I organized arts and crafts that helped with their coordination and fine motor skills, gave baths, helped with household chores, prepared healthy meals, and helped transport them to and from personal appointments.
