Hello, I'm currently a college student working towards my bachelors degree in teaching for Early Education - 6th grade. During this time I've been a nanny for the last four years for a wonderful family with a 6-year-old boy, 8-year-old boy and a 2-year-old girl. Then for the last year a wonderful family with a 2-year-old boy but due to change in the parents work schedules, I'm no longer needed regularly starting in August. Before the pandemic I also was a lead teacher for toddlers at Ivy Kids in League City for two years so I can provide activities, prepare food and potty train the little one if needed. I have obtained my associates degree, and I am also first aid and CPR certified and can provide reliable transportation and also get a background check if needed. If you'd like I also am able to provide references for my previous families I have babysat/nannied for. My rate is between 14-20 dollars an hour depending on the requirements for the job. Kayla was the perfect fit for our family! She cared for our two oldest children starting in September 2020 until the youngest began preschool at age 3.5 in 2022. We ended up having another child and hired her again to care for our then 3 month old. She cared for this child until I became a stay at home parent a year later. She is energetic, creative, loving, and patient. The kids always had fun every single day, and still ask if she can come back. Kayla would come up with special crafts for holidays that the kids loved. She always cleaned up after the messes from the children and activities, and even got them willingly involved. When we were getting our oldest prepared to start kindergarten, she assisted in the handwriting practice and other skills we were working on. If we could keep her forever, we would!
