About Kayla

Hello! My name is Kayla H. and I am a 22-year-old recent college graduate. I started working with kids when I began babysitting in my neighborhood at age 13. I became a summer camp counselor and teaching assistant at my community theatre at age 15, continuing my work there presently. I am responsible for kids between the ages of 2 and 16, and have worked with children on the autism spectrum as well. During college, I nannied for one boy. My responsabilities included meal prep, homework help, and taking the child to and from appointments. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, crocheting, writing poetry, photographing, painting, drawing, singing, and spending time with family and friends. My skills include organizing fun activities such as crafts or afternoon outings, providing comfort and support, and helping kids work through their challenges using a positive mindset.
