I am an Academic Coach and tutor serving students through online platforms. I help students learn goal setting, time management, study skills, and life skills necessary to help them advance to the next grade level. I work to instill a lifelong love of learning in my students and confidence that will help them build for their own future. My background: I am a first-generation college student majoring in Criminology and Biology. I love the brain and have aspirations to becoming a neuropsychologist. I tutor because I love lifting people up to the confidence level I know they can achieve. It really is all connected to your neural connections and how you push past them. Kayla is working one on one with our son, who struggled in the traditional school setting. Kayla stepped in to help our son pass classes with good grades (a first) and has been a real blessing to our family. She has been creative with her approaches to find what works best for our son and has a forward-thinking approach to help prepare him to re-enter a traditional school setting for the next school year.
