About Kayla

Hi there! My name is Kayla and I am an online graduate student at Widener University working towards my Masters in Social Work (MSW). I am currently a Parent Liaison at an elementary school in Newark, NJ. Previously, I worked at a Daycare Center in Union Beach, NJ. During my time at the center, I worked with infants, toddlers, preschool children. I have had much experience working with children, from babysitting throughout high school and my undergraduate years, to working at a daycare and now a public school. I am also a big sister to a sassy 13-year-old. When I'm not at work, I enjoy hiking, reading, & spending time with my family and friends I love working with children and becoming a part of their growth and learning. As the school year comes to a close, I am available most days this summer, with weekends upon request. My hours are extremely flexible! I can provide references if needed.
