About Kaya

I'd describe my personality as creative, energetic, and ambitious! I'm looking for a job that allows me to grow with the family, while working in tandem with my school and part-time job scheduling. I have experience nannying for a family with three daughters (twins and a toddler) until they moved away a few years ago. In 2024, I was a summer camp counselor (ages 6-11) and daycare teacher (ages 1-4). In my spare time, I'm the Editor-In-Chief on a student-led publication called Strike Magazine. I also really love movies! One thing you should know is that I take pride in how much care I dedicate to the families I work with. I believe that children can learn and grow from everyone they interact with, be that their family, teachers, etc. I am glad to be part of that growth! I would say that my top three skills include patience, empathy, and activity planning. Children are so full of energy and ideas, and being able to help bring those ideas to life is a beautiful thing.
