About Kaya

As an older sister, I have always known that helping and providing for younger children is something that I feel very passionately about. One important thing to me is making sure that the children that I am around feel comfortable with me. That means being an open listener and mindful to all their needs. Not all kids all the same, so I try to make sure that I understand their personalities so I can cater directly to them. With that, having been a reader when I was young, I try to integrate as much non-electronic activities as I can. My sister was an art student and I was a theater student in high school, so any activity where we can get moving and be creative/be outside is really important to me and I think will definitely benefit any child that I am taking care of. I also understand safety is important so I will always have my phone on and invite parents to have my location 24/7 so there is never ambiguity to where their child is!
