I'm Katy I am studying in the CLIP PROGRAM at BMCC. I'm a passionate childcare provider with two years of experience caring for children aged four to five. Motivated to support families by providing reliable childcare, I strive to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. My patient and calm nature, paired with my creativity and imagination, allows me to engage children in various activities that foster their learning and development. I maintain open communication with parents, providing written daily reports and engaging in verbal communication during pickup to discuss their child's day and address any issues that may arise. I believe in following the parents' lead when it comes to enforcing household rules, ensuring consistency and respect for their parenting style. I excel at organizing engaging activities for children, including outdoor sports and physical games, board games and puzzles, and educational games that promote learning.
